2. The grievance of the petitioners is that respondent No.4 has not registered the F.I.R. on the complaint of the petitioners, dated 31.08.2014 nor has investigated the same. The photographs produced along with the writ petition show serious offences having been committed by the accused. Petitioners also rely upon further complaint, dated 24.09.2014. Alleging in action on the part of respondent No.4, the present writ petition is filed.
3. Learned Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that F.I.R.Nos.231 and 232 of 2014 were already registered on the basis of petitioners’ complaint dated 24.09.2014 and the investigating officer has taken up investigation.
4. In the circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of directing respondent No.4 to take appropriate action by appropriately investigating the said two F.I.Rs., in accordance with law, expeditiously and take such further action as is warranted.
As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
