Heard learned counsel for the parties.
According to the petitioner, he filed a complaint on 25.10.2014 with respondent No. 2 against Mahendra Kumar Agarwal and others for committing offences of cheating, forgery and other offences and marked copies of such complaint to respondent No.3-Deputy Commissioner of Police, Shamshabad and Assistant Commissioner of Police, Shamshabad for necessary action. Alleging inaction of the respondents particularly respondent No.2 on the said complaint, the present writ petition is filed.
Learned Government Pleader for Home, on instructions, submits that preliminary enquiry was conducted on the allegations made in the petitioner’s complaint and after satisfying tenability of the allegations, a case in Cr. No. 413 of 2014 was registered under Sections 420, 468 and 471 IPC on 9.12.2014 and investigation was taken up and though there was delay in registering the case, but it was on account of conducting preliminary enquiry.
Since the petitioner’s grievance in this writ petition was redressed by registering his complaint and taking up investigation, no further orders are required to be passed in this writ petition which is accordingly disposed of. Miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
