Respondents Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus of any other appropriate writ directing the first respondent police to produce the body of the daughter of the petitioner, namely, Minor A. Vanitha from the illegal custody of the second respondent, before this Court and set her at liberty and pass such other further orders.

NAGAMUTHU,J.,) The petitioner is the father of one Vanitha, aged 17 years. Alleging that she was found missing from the hostel, where she was studying, the petitioner has come up with this habeas corpus petition.
2. Today, when the matter has been taken up for hearing, it is stated by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the girl left the hostel because the Warden of the hostel found fault with the detenue for getting lower marks in the examination. Now, she is returned. Recording the above statement, this habeas corpus petition is dismissed.
