1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.
2. This petition has been filed praying for a direction to the police authorities to give protection to the petitioners as they have married out of their own sweet will.
3. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that both the petitioners are major and they have married out of their own sweet will. Since the petitioners have married against their parents wishes, they are being harassed by the family members. The marriage certificate of the petitioners dated 12.12.2019 issued by the Arya Samaj, Keshav Nagar, Kanpur Nagar has been filed as Annexure-3 to the petition. The petitioners tried to get their marriage registered but due to non availability of High School Certificate, they could not do so.
4. This petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioners to approach the S.H.O., P.S- Kalyanpur, District Kanpur Nagar, who shall extend all help and protection to them under the Government Order dated 31.08.2019.
