Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned A.G.A. for the State.
The petitioner is stated to be allegedly involved in the offences under Sections 3/5/8/ of the U.P. Cow Slaughter Act, 1955 read with Section 11 of the Prevention of Animals Cruelty Act, 1960.
We have gone through the contents of the first information report and we are not satisfied so as to quash the first information report on the averments made in the writ petition, consequently it will be open to the petitioner to seek his remedy by way of bail before the Court concerned in accordance with law.
The writ petition is accordingly rejected.
