This writ petition is filed to expedite the Election Petition filed by petitioner bearing Election Petition No.2532 of 2012 (Jugul Kishore vs. Smt. Indrawati and others) pending before respondent no.2 - Presiding Officer/Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Maharajganj against the private respondents.
Learned counsel for petitioner has relied upon a judgment passed by this Court in Anita Devi and others vs. Prescribed Authority, Panchayat Raj and others; 2016 (6) ADJ 27 wherein this Court has passed certain direction for expeditious disposal of the Election Petition, therefore, learned counsel prayed that this writ petition be disposed of in terms of Anita Devi (Supra).
Learned Standing Counsel has no objection if the aforesaid prayer is allowed.
In view of above, this writ petition is disposed of in terms of the directions passed by this Court in Anita Devi (Supra).
