Heard Ms. Arti Raje, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel.
This writ petition has been filed for issuance of mandamus commanding the respondent to dispose of the correction application dated 7.3.2019 appended as annexure-3 to the writ petition within stipulated time.
Earlier Writ B No. 354 of 2019 was filed by the petitioner for the same relief, which was disposed of with the direction to the petitioner to file a proper application under Rule 109-A of the U.P. Consolidation of Holding Rules, 1954 (hereinafter referred to as Rules). The Court has further directed that in case, such application is filed within three weeks, it is expected that the same shall be considered and decided as expeditiously as possible.
Subsequently, an application was filed on 7.3.2019 before the Consolidation Officer under Rule 109-A of the Rules for the implementation of the order dated 5.11.2007. The said application remain pending till date.
Under these circumstances, respondent-Consolidation Officer, Rambagh, Mirzapur is directed to decide the said application as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
Writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
