The learned Additional Government Advocate submits that this writ petition is filed impugning the order dated 30.12.2017 passed by the State under Section 55 of Karnataka Police Act, 1963 externing the petitioner from Koppal Sub-division, Koppal for a period upto 23.12.2018, and as the externment period has expired, the writ petition is rendered infructuous.
3. None appears for the petitioner. As the impugned order has spent itself in the circumstances stated by the learned Additional Government Advocate, nothing remains in this petition. Therefore, the writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
