JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner had filed an appeal before the first respondent under Rule 35(b) of Tamil Nadu State and Subordinate Service Rules and seeks for disposal of the said appeal dated 01.08.2017 by the concerned authority within the time frame.
2.Heard, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
3.Having regard to the limited relief sought by the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any view on the correctness or entitlement of the claim made, directs the first respondent to dispassionately consider the appeal dated 01.08.2017 made by the petitioner and pass reasoned orders on merits in accordance with law and communicate the same to the petitioner and file a report of such compliance before the Registrar (Judicial) of this Court on or before 31.12.2017.
4.This Writ Petition is disposed of with the aforesaid direction. No costs.
