JUDGMENT / ORDER

(Both Crl.O.Ps) COMMON PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. praying to call for the records relating to the criminal proceedings pending in S.T.C.NoS.30 of 2012 and 3 of 2016 on the file of Learned Judicial Magistrate No.II (C.C.I.W), Tirunelveli and quash the same.
The petitioner approaches this Court with a prayer to quash the S.T.C.NoS.30 of 2012 and 3 of 2016 on the file of Learned Judicial Magistrate No.II (C.C.I.W), Tirunelveli.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the State and also perused the materials available on record.
3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the gravity of offence, this Court is not inclined to quash S.T.C.Nos.30 of 2012 and 3 of 2016 on the file of Learned Judicial Magistrate No.II (C.C.I.W), Tirunelveli and hence these petitions are dismissed. However, the appearance of the petitioner before the Trial Court is dispensed with. The Trial Court is directed to dispose of the S.T.C.Nos.30 of 2012 and 3 of 2016 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
