JUDGMENT / ORDER

When this Criminal Original Petition was taken up, an affidavit has been filed on behalf of the petitioner.
2. In the affidavit filed by the petitioner, it is stated that a Compromise Agreement dated 13.02.2017 has been entered into between her, her son and the second respondent; as per the terms of the Compromise Agreement, her son agreed to pay Rs.3,00,000/- (Rupees Three Lakhs only) as full/final/lump sum/complete Monetary settlement including alimony, maintenance to the second respondent and the second respondent has also accepted the same and that the terms and conditions of the Compromise agreement has also been complied with. It is also stated in the affidavit that the second respondent is not willing to pursue the complaint any further.
3. Both the parties are present. Their identities have been verified and they accepted the contents in the affidavit as true and genuine.
4. Recording the affidavit filed as stated supra, the proceedings in Crime No.34 of 2015 on the file of the first respondent, is quashed, and the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
