This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the Principal District and Sessions Judge cum Designated Judge at Puducherry to dispose of the petition in Crl.M.P.No.350 of 2016 in Crl.M.P.No.885 of 2008 in Crime No.31 of 2004 on merits within a stipulated time frame.

Considering the fact that the petition relates to the year 2008 and also the facts and circumstances of the case, the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge cum Designated Judge at Puducherry is directed to dispose of the petition in Crl.M.P.No.350 of 2016 in Crl.M.P.No.885 of 2008 in Crime No.31 of 2004 pending on his file, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
