JUDGMENT / ORDER

Petitioner has approached this Court complaining about the inaction on the part of the respondent in not issuing P forms for transporting red earth removed from his quarry. Ext. P1 is the quarrying permit. Ext. P2 is the application submitted by the petitioner. In fact, as per the relevant procedure, the respondent will have to consider the application after ascertaining the quantity of red earth, and thereafter issue necessary P forms. 2. In these circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of as under:
The respondent is directed to consider Ext. P2 and pass appropriate orders after complying with the procedure prescribed, within a period two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. It is made clear that for removing red earth from quarry site, there is no necessity for obtaining the No Objection Certificate from the District Collector or clearance from the State Environmental Impact Assessment Authority.
