JUDGMENT / ORDER

The Writ Petitioner sought certain information from the second respondent. The second respondent failed to provide information. Thereafter petitioner filed appeal before the first respondent. The first respondent passed Ext.P5 order directing to provide information sought by the petitioner. Petitioner submits that in spite of such information, no information has been provided. Accordingly, petitioner has approached this Court.
2. Petitioner has a remedy under Sec.20 of the Right to Information Act. Seeking information under the Right to Information Act and seeking a mandamus to discharge public duties are totally different. The Right to Information Act provides various methods if no information is provided. Therefore, the remedy has to be worked out within the scheme of Right to Information Act.
3. In view of the above, petitioner shall approach authorities mentioned in Sec.20 or other provisions of the Right to Information Act for taking appropriate actions against W.P(C).No.33380 of 2014V 2 respondents 2 and 3 for not providing information based on Ext.P5.
With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
