Jose Alias Joseph vs Kerala State Environmental Assessment

Petitioner has submitted Ext. P4 application before the Kerala State Impact Assessment Authority in order to get approval for mining ordinary earth in terms of Rule 5(7) of the Kerala Minor Mineral Concession Rules, 2012. The submission of the petitioner is that though the same was filed on 15.3.2014, despite the expiry of statutory period, so far, no orders have been passed in the matter. 2. Having regard to the aforesaid submission, I am of the view that this writ petition can be disposed of as under:

The 3rd respondent shall consider Ext.P4 and pass appropriate orders within 30 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
