JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner is the absolute owner in possession and enjoyment of 02.73 Ares of land in Survey No.968/Part of Chembukavu Village, Thrissur Taluk has been classified as 'paddy land' in the Basic Tax Register. The petitioner submits that the land is not included as 'paddy land' in the draft data bank. The petitioner relies on Ext.P2. The petitioner wants to construct a residential building.
In view of the above, I am of the view that the petitioner shall approach the District Collector, Thrissur in terms of Clause 6 of the Kerala Land Utilization Order within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. Considering the extent of the property and the nature of the land as referred in Ext.P2, necessary permit W.P.(C) No.35118 of 2014 2 shall be granted to be petitioner to construct a residential building in the property. The permission shall be given to the petitioner within two weeks from the date of receipt of such application. Based on such permission, the petitioner shall approach the first respondent for building permit.
The writ petition is disposed of as above.
