JUDGMENT / ORDER

A.M. Shaffique, J Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader. 2. By this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for a mandamus commanding respondents 2 and 3 to provide sufficient police protection from the threat caused by respondents 4 to 6. The petitioner’s case is that he was proceeding to construct a bore well with regard to which obstructions were created by the private respondents. A complaint has been filed against private respondents, which was not adverted to.
3. Learned Government Pleader submits that a stop memo has already been issued by the Panchayat to stop digging of the well, for which police aid was sought for.
WP(c) No.30272/14 2 Under such circumstances, we see no reason to issue any direction as sought for.
The writ petition is closed.
