JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner, who submitted a representation for re-allotment of the plot by the respondent Housing Board, has approached this Court for a direction to dispose of the same. Other reliefs are also sought for.
2. The petitioner alleges that he was alloted plot no.12 of the Thilak Nagar Housing Scheme; and later, he, who was employed outside, was given to understand that his allotment was cancelled on 04.06.2004. He further alleges that thereafter, he approached the respondent Housing Board and filed two representations. But, it did not evoke any positive response. However, the petitioner has made a representation for re-allotment of the plot. The representation was dated 24.11.2011, which, according to the petitioner, is still pending before the respondent Housing Board.
W.P.(C) No. 34621 of 2011 ..2..
In the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court feels that it is only just and proper to direct the respondent Housing Board to dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner within a time frame after affording the petitioner an opportunity of being heard.
Therefore, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent Housing Board to dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner within a period of three months from today after affording the petitioner an opportunity of being heard.
The respondent Housing Board shall not allot the property in question to a third party till a final decision is taken in the matter, if not already allotted.
