ORDER:
The petitioner, which claims to be an Association of Displaced Persons of Mangapeta village, filed this Writ Petition feeling aggrieved by the inaction of respondent Nos.2 and 3 in providing house sites to its members.
On behalf of respondent No.2 and 4, its Executive Director has filed a counter-affidavit wherein it is inter alia stated as under :
“ ….. All the 63 families pertaining to bus stand area were given house site pattas in R.R. Centre-III. But all these families have rejected to occupy their house sites on the ground that the house sites allotted to them are not as per vasthu. However 19 persons out of 63 have occupied house sites either at R.R. Centre-I or R.R. Centre-IV. As such only 44 persons related to bus stand area to be issued house site pattas. The Tahsildar have taken up enumeration with the assistance of APMDC staff in R.R. Centre-I and noticed roughly 55 vacant house sites which can be given to the left over bus stand area inhabitants. The process is going on and the issue of house site pattas to all these 44 families will be completed by the end of November, 2014.”
At the hearing, Sri V. Subrahmanyam, learned Counsel for respondent Nos.2 and 4 submitted that the Writ Petition may be disposed of in the light of the undertaking given in the counter- affidavit.
Having regard to the above reproduced averments contained in the counter-affidavit which are placed on record, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the direction to respondent No.2 to ensure that the 44 families which are not provided with house sites are provided with the house site pattas by the end of 30th November 2014 as held out in the counter-affidavit.
As a sequel to the disposal of the Writ Petition, WPMP No.29175 of 2014 is disposed of as infructuous.
