Madras High Court|13 March, 2017

JUDGMENT / ORDER

vsi receive the Application Form CCPA dated 15.02.2017 together with prescribed fees and grant an Autorickshaw Permit in respect of the vehicle No.TN-70-C-2869 and pass orders in accordance with law.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondent is not even receiving the application form for grant of autorickshaw permit. Needless to say that it is for the respondent to consider and decide as to whether the petitioner is entitled to such permit or not and therefore, this Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner. However, as it is stated that the respondent is not even receiving the application, the writ petition is disposed of only with a direction to the respondent to receive the application from the petitioner and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
