J.Jayapragash vs 4 The Registrar

Madras High Court|04 October, 2017

JUDGMENT / ORDER

(Order of the court was made by HULUVADI G.RAMESH,J.) Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner at the threshold.
2. The stand of the petitioner is that respondents 2 and 3 were promoted as against the petitioner though they do not belong to Pudhucherry and they have migrated to Pudhucherry.
3. On the other hand, the stand of respondents 2 and 3 is that they belong to Scheduled Caste and they had produced certificate issued by the Pudhucherry Government to that effect.
4. It appears from the reply filed by the Government that only on proper verification of the certificates produced by respondents 2 and 3, they were promoted and they are senior to the petitioner. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is not able to substantiate the stand of the petitioner to take a decision in his favour. The writ petitioner sans merit and accordingly, it is dismissed. No costs. The connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed.
