Learned Additional Public Prosecutor Ms. Krina Calla, on instructions, submits that the trial has commenced, five witnesses have already been examined and trial is likely to be completed within a short period of time.
In view of the above, learned Advocate for the applicant does not press this application at this stage.
Hence, this application stands disposed of as not pressed. However, the Trial Court is directed to decide the case of the applicant in accordance with law and as expeditiously as possible, as the applicant has been in jail since 01.05.2011, without being influenced by any order/s of this Court. Direct Service is permitted. Rule discharged.
