Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
The petitioner alleges that he has lodged an FIR against some private persons for committing forgery of a huge amount and in view of the above, his life is in danger. The petitioner, therefore, by means of this writ petition wants a direction that he may be provided security so that his life may be secured.
In case, there is any threat to the life of the petitioner, he may employ personal private security-guards or apply to the District Level Committee, headed by the District Magistrate in accordance with the provisions of the Government Order dated 9.5.2014, which shall be considered in accordance with law.
The writ petition stands disposed of with the above observations.
