Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for respondents State.
It is contended that firearm license of petitioner was put under suspension and a show-cause notice was issued vide order dated 04.06.2021.
Petitioner was required to submit his reply to the said show- cause notice by 22.06.2021. Instead of approaching the licensing authority, present writ petition has been preferred assailing the suspension order.
After some argument, learned counsel for petitioner submitted that in case the Court grants time, he is ready to appear before licensing authority and shall file his reply.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs that in case petitioner files reply to the show-cause notice within 15 days from today before licensing authority, the licensing authority shall consider and decide the same strictly in accordance with law within next three months.
Writ petition stands disposed of.
