This writ petition has been filed, inter alia, for the following relief:
"Issue a writ, order of direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent authorities to provide proper protection to the petitioners as well as other Members of Zila Panchayat, Kaushambi for casting their votes in the election of Chairman, Zila Panchayat, Kaushambi scheduled to be held on 29.7.2019. "
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, it is provided that in case the petitioners approach the respondent no.3, District Magistrate Kaushambi/District Election officer (Panchayat), Kaushambi along with an application enclosing therewith a copy of the present writ petition and all other relevant documents, the said authority shall shall look into the matter and do the needful in the matter .
It is made clear that this court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
With the above observations, the writ petition stands disposed of finally.
