Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
Challenge in this writ petition is to an order dated 30.04.2019 passed in a revision, which was directed against an order passed in proceedings under Section 198(4) of the U.P.Z.A. & L.R. Act for cancellation of an allotment.
The revision has been dismissed on the ground that it was belated by 11 years and that no cogent explanation had been furnished for this inordinate delay.
Upon hearing learned counsel for the petitioner and upon a perusal of the record, I am in complete agreement with the order passed by the Additional Commissioner (Administration). There is no explanation for this inordinate delay of more than a decade. The Section 5 application has therefore, rightly been rejected and I do not find any good ground to interfere with the order.
The writ petition is without merit and is dismissed.
