Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
The writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:-
"(I) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing to the respondents/authorities/specially Sub Divisional Magistrate Tehsil Phoolpur, District Azamgarh (respondent no. 2) to decide the case filed by the petitioners under section 116 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 which has registered as Computer Case No. T201915060300497 in the Court Sub Divisional Magistrate, Tehsil Phoolpur, District Azamgarh, in some time bound manner fixed by this hon'ble court, so that the petitioners may be enabled to get the land towards their share in land Gata Nos. 1694 area 7.475 Hectare situated in village Sumhadeeh, Pargana Mahul, Tehsil Phoolpur, District Azamgarh."
The petitioners seek directions for expeditious disposal of their partition suit filed in the year 2018.
It is submitted that the written statement has been filed. However, issues have not been framed and, therefore, the evidence has not yet been adduced.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 2 to decide the partition suit as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of 18 months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
