Heard Sri Suneel Kumar Mishra, learned counsels for the applicant as well as the learned A.G.A. and perused the material placed on record.
The applicant, by way of filing the present application, has sought for a direction to the Additional Session Judge- II,Rampur to expedite and conclude the proceeding of Session Trial No.89 of 2018 (State Versus Diksha Singh and others) arising out of Case Crime No.73 of 2016 under Sections 406, 420, 500, 503, 504, 506 I.P.C. and Section 3(1) 10 of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, Police Station Civil Line, District Rampur, within a stipulated period.
Learned counsel for the applicant has stated that the applicant is the informant in the aforesaid case. The F.I.R. was lodged in the present case in the year 2016 and after investigation charge sheet was submitted in the year 2017 and since then trial is pending.
In view of aforesaid, the trial court is directed to expedite the trial of aforesaid case and conclude the same in accordance with law without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of nine months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order, if there is no legal impediment.
With the above direction, this application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. stands disposed of.
