Heard the learned counsel for the parties.
The primary prayer made in the writ petition reads thus:
"Issue, a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari to quash the impugned First Information Report dated 14.05.2017 as Case Crime no. 154 of 2017 under Section 366 I.P.C., P.S. Sumerpur, District Hamirpur. (Contained as Annexure No. 1 to this writ petition)"
Mr. Murtaza, learned AGA, on instructions, submits that the investigating agency has filed a closure/final report under Section 173 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 bearing no. 34 of 2017 dated 23.07.2017, and in view thereof, this petition renders infructuous.
The petition is, accordingly, disposed of as infructuous.
