JUDGMENT / ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed to call for the records relating to FIR in Crime No.08 of 2015, pending on the file of the first respondent and quash the same.
2. Today, the petitioner along with their counsel on record and the second respondent/defacto complainant are present. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the first respondent is also present. The identities of the parties have been verified. They have submitted that the dispute between them has been amicably settled. The second respondent has also filed an affidavit on 24.04.2017. When this Court enquired the parties, particularly, second respondent/defacto complainant, about the factum of settlement and the terms of settlement, she admitted the same. She also expressed no objection in quashing the FIR in Crime No.08/2015, registered against the petitioner herein.
3. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the FIR in Crime No.08 of 2015, pending on the file of the first respondent is quashed. The affidavit filed by the second respondent on 24.04.2017 is taken on record.
