1. After making submission with reference to the impugned order, the learned counsel for the petitioners has made reference to the relief prayed for in para 18(C).

The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that different kinds of orders have been passed by the respondent authorities and the benefits of recommendation of 6th Pay Commission have been allowed to be given to different municipalities. Having regard to the said facts and circumstances the petitioners have made request before the competent authority. After referring to those representations, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the respondents may be directed in terms of relief prayed for in para 18(C). The relief prayed for in para 18(C) reads thus:
"18(C).
Alternatively respondent No.1 may be directed to reconsider the order impugned produced at Annexure-D and pass fresh orders in light of the order passed by Director of Municipality, Gandhinagar produced at Annexure-C."
3. Having regard to the said request made by learned counsel for the petitioner i.e. the representation made by the petitioners may be considered by the competent authority, present petition is disposed of with below mentioned order.
The respondent competent authority shall take into consideration the representation made by the petitioner and take up the earlier order for reconsideration and after taking into account the grounds mentioned by the petitioners, the competent authority shall pass appropriate order with reference to the petitioner's representation, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within 8 weeks from service of certified copy of present order.
4. With the aforesaid observations, petition is disposed of in view of the request made by learned counsel for the petitioner. Direct service is permitted.
