The petitioner, a student undergoing the Plus Two course in S.N.D.P. Higher Secondary School, Adimaly in Idukki district, has filed this writ petition for an order directing the fourth respondent Principal to permit him to continue to attend classes. 2. When the writ petition came up for admission hearing today, Sri.Latheesh Sebastian, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the Principal has, pursuant to the assurance given by the petitioner to the Staff Council and the Parent Teacher Association at the meeting held on 20.5.2014 that he will withdraw the writ petition, offered to permit the petitioner to attend classes and therefore the petitioner may be permitted to withdraw the writ petition reserving liberty with him to move this Court afresh if occasion arises in future. The above submission is recorded and the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn, reserving liberty with the petitioner to move this Court afresh if occasion arises in future.
