JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner is the first informant in C.C.347/2013 on the file of Judicial First Class Magistrate Court-II, Attingal. The accused in that case is alleged to have committed the offences under sections 420 and 493 of IPC. The prayer in this petition is only to direct the learned Magistrate to expedite the trial of the case. The grounds urged are that the petitioner is a native of Maharashtra and she would like to go back to Maharashtra and join her parents.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.
3. I am satisfied that the prayer is reasonable. But, it appears that the Court in which the case is pending is a heavy court. The learned Magistrate will try to dispose of the case within six months.
Crl.M.C. No. 3495/2014 -2-
In the result this Criminal M.C. is allowed. The learned Magistrate is directed to expedite the trial of C.C. 347/2013 on his file. All efforts should be made to dispose it of within six months.
