JUDGMENT / ORDER

Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a WRIT OF HABEAS CORPUS, to call for the records in connection with the order of detention passed by the 1st respondent dated 13.04.2017 in No.173/BCDFGISSSV/2017, against the petitioner Jeeva, aged 24 years, S/o.Raghu, who is confined at Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu before this Hon'ble Court and set him at liberty forthwith.
For Petitioner : Mr.A.K.Manojkumaar For Respondents : Mr.V.M.R.Rajentran, Additional Public Prosecutor O R D E R [Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to call for the records relating to the detention order passed in No.173/BCDFGISSSV/2017 dated 13.04.2017 by the Detaining Authority against the detenu by name, Jeeva, aged 24 years, S/o.Raghu, residing at No.34, Gowripettai, Avadi, Chennai and quash the same.
2. It is represented on the side of the respondents that the Detention Order in question has already been revoked, by virtue of G.O.Rt.No.2793 dated 14.06.2017 and a copy of the same is submitted, wherein, it is clearly stated that the Detention Order in question has been revoked.
3. Considering the afore said factual circumstances, the relief sought in the petition has become infructuous.
4. In fine, this petition is dismissed as infructuous.
