This Civil Revision Petition has been filed to direct the learned IV Additional City Civil Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai to dispose of the appeal being A.S.No.131 of 2011 at an early date which was filed on 23.02.2010.
2. Aggrieved over the long pendency of the appeal, the present Civil Revision Petition has been filed. The Petitioners are respondents 6 to 8 in the suit in A.S.No.131 of 2011. The appeal was filed by the second defendant and it was taken on file on 28.03.2011 and was posted before the learned IV Additional Judge, City Civil Court on 18.04.2011. While, the matter was posted for arguments on 07.06.2013, two civil miscellaneous petitions were filed for receiving the additional documents and for appointment of receiver. The matter continues to be pending in the same stage under the caption of C.M.P.Nos.1156 of 2013, 1157 of 2013 and 1546 of 2013 are pending. It is pertinent to note that the civil miscellaneous petitions are of the year 2013 and due to the pendency of the civil miscellaneous petitions, the appeal is also pending.

Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, a direction is issued to the IV Additional Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai, to dispose of civil miscellaneous petitions in C.M.P.Nos.1156, 1157 & 1546 of 2013 within one month and thereafter the main appeal, as expeditiously as possible. Since the appeal is of the year 2011, it is desirable that the appellate Court shall dispose of the appeal not later than six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
