JUDGMENT / ORDER

The prayer in the writ petition is for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to change the records in the name of the petitioner.
2.Heard Mr.V.Kannan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.A.Abdulkhadar, learned counsel appearing for the first respondent and Mr.G.Muthukannan, learned counsel appearing for the respondents 2 and 3.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice, if a direction is given to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.07.2011.
4.Mr.G.Muthukannan, learned Government Advocate would submit that the representation was given in the year 2011 and if a fresh representation is given, it will be considered in accordance with law. He would further submit that now the panchayat is administered by the Special Officer/Block Development Officer.
5.In view of the above submission, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the petitioner to give a fresh representation to the first respondent enclosing a copy of this order, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such compliance, since the punchayat is administered by the Special Officer/Block Development Officer, he is directed to consider the said representation of the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to all necessary parties, within a period of twelve weeks, therefrom.
6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
