Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Anadi Krishna Narayana for the second respondent and the learned Standing Counsel.
Learned counsel appearing for the second respondent states that as per instructions, the petitioner is not entitled to benefits under the Debt Relief Scheme as framed by the State Government. However before this Court it is not disputed that no formal decision has been communicated to the petitioner in this regard as yet. In view thereof learned counsel representing the second respondent states that an appropriate decision shall be taken by the bank in respect of the claim as raised and communicated to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from today.
The petition is accordingly disposed of in light of the statement noted above. It shall be open to the petitioner to initiate appropriate proceedings if he be aggrieved by the decision which may be taken by the bank.
