The prayer made in the instant petition is for issuing direction to the trial court to decide Original Suit No. 589 of 2004 instituted by the petitioner against the defendants-respondents within a stipulated time frame.
A perusal of the order sheet reveals that on 2.5.2019, the trial court, after rejecting the application 98-Ga filed by the defendants 2 and 3, fixed date for recording of the evidence of the defendants.
Having regard to the fact that the suit is pending since the year 2004, the instant petition is disposed of with direction to the trial court to ensure speedy disposal of the suit, by fixing short dates and without granting unnecessary adjournments, provided there is no legal impediment.
