JUDGMENT / ORDER

----------------------- Petitioners based on Ext.P1 sale deed approached the revenue officials to effect transfer of registry. It seems that petitioners were directed to produce prior documents to establish their claim based on Ext.P1. The village officer refused to mutate the property citing the reason that there is a huge delay in making Ext.P2 application.
2. Transfer of registry is for fiscal purposes. The delay involved is not fatal. Merely because transfer of registry is effected no right of third party will be affected.
3. Considering the above, there shall be a direction to the respondent to consider the application of transfer of registry within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
The writ petition is disposed of as above.
