Heard learned Advocate Mr. Kanani for the applicant.
It appears that by Judgment and order dated 2.3.2012 passed in Criminal Misc. Application No. 1880 of 2010, the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Ahmedabad, has awarded Rs.10,000/- towards maintenance to the Opponent No.1 (wife of the present applicant) from the date of filing of application i.e. from 26.8.2010.
Learned Advocate Mr. Kanani states that from the date of filing of application by the opponent No.1, the applicant has to pay about Rs.1,80,000/- towards maintenance. He also states that the applicant is ready to deposit part of the amount i.e. Rs.75,000/- as maintenance before the Family Court within two weeks from today and he will produce the receipt for such deposit of amount. The Family Court is directed to accept the said amount.
In view of above, the office is directed to issue notice to the other side, returnable on 18th June, 2012. Direct service is permitted.
