Petitioner's application for renewal of licence, which is produced as Ext.P8, is pending consideration before the respondents. It is the specific case of the petitioner that despite an order of the Tribunal for Local Self Government directing the respondents to renew the licence, nothing has been done by the respondents.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, I dispose the writ petition with a direction to the respondents to take a decision on Ext.P8 application, in the light of Ext.P7 order of the Tribunal, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the judgment.
