Aswathnarayan, - Advocate for R1 and R2) This Criminal Revision Petition is filed under Section 397 r/w 401 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, praying to, set aside the order dated 11.09.2017 passed in P.C.R. No.14/2015 on the file of the learned LXX Additional City Civil and Sessions Judge and Special Judge, Bengaluru and be pleased to direct the learned LXX Additional City Civil and Sessions Judge and Special Judge, Bangalore to take cognizance of the offences committed by the respondents in respect of the offences committed under Section 3(iv) and (v) of the Schedule Castes and the Schedule Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 and punish the Respondents for the commission of the said offences.
This Criminal Revision Petition Coming on for Admission, this day, the court made the following:
ORDER Learned counsel for the petitioner has filed a memo reporting death of petitioner and submits that in view of the same, the petition has abated and thus, liable to be dismissed as the same has been rendered infructuous.
The memo is placed on record. As the petition stands abated due to the death of petitioner, the same is dismissed as having become infructuous.
