By this writ petition, petitioner seeks for a direction to respondents 1 to 3 to afford adequate and effective police protection to the life of the petitioner from the 4th respondent.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the 4th respondent, who is the husband of the petitioner, has already filed a divorce petition. It is further submitted that the petitioner has also filed a complaint under Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act against the 4th respondent wherein an order has already been passed by the learned Magistrate directing for payment of maintenance to the petitioner.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been dispossessed from her flat on 06/11/2014 by the 4th respondent.
4. We are of the view that the petitioner has to seek her remedy before the competent civil court or any other appropriate forum. This writ petition, seeking to put the petitioner back in the flat from where she is alleged to have been dispossessed, cannot be entertained by this Court and accordingly the same is dismissed.
