Petitioner challenges the action of the respondent in not entertaining Ext. P3 application. According to the petitioner, he had applied for a certificate from the Administrative General, based on a will executed by the deceased Koottarangth Balachandran, but the respondent did not receive the said application on the ground that it is with reference to immovable property. Reference is made to Sections 2(a) and 29(1) of the Administrators-General Act, 1963. 2. The aforesaid provisions clearly indicate that the respondent authority can issue necessary certificate in respect of immovable property as well.
In the above circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent authority to consider Ext. P3 application on merits and dispose of the same in accordance with law.
