JUDGMENT / ORDER

Petitioner is accused in Crime No.442 of 2014 of the Palode Police Station for the offence punishable under Sections 55(g) of the Abkari Act, is in custody from 29-04-2014 and seeks bail. 2. Learned Public Prosecutor has opposed the bail. It is submitted that on 29-04-2014 at 6:20 p.m. 35 litres of wash and utensils for distilling arrack were seized from the house in the possession of the Petitioner.
3. Learned counsel contended that the house number referred to in the remand papplication does not belonging to the Petitioner.
4. Having regard to the circumstances request for bail cannot be allowed at this stage. Petitioner can move fresh application after investigation has progressed.
B.A. No. 3395 of 2014 2 Application is dismissed with the above direction.
