Public Prosecutor ORDER The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to investigate the case and to file the final report in respect of Crime No.119 of 2014 on the file of the Sub Inspector of Police, Paratharami Police Station, Gudiyatham.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that based on the complaint given by him, a case was registered in Crime No.119 of 2014 by the respondent police as against one Ravi, Sundaramoorthy and Kamalammal. Though the said complaint was registered in the year 2014, till date, final report was not filed. Hence, the present petition.
3. I have heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.119 of 2014 pending on his file and file a final report, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Criminal Original Petition is ordered accordingly.
