Public Prosecutor ORDER The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to file the Final Report pertaining to the complaint dated 23.9.2012 given by the de facto complainant, which was registered in Crime No.1336 of 2012, offence under Section 341, 307, 506(ii) pending on the file of respondent police herein.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that a complaint came to be lodged by one Anbu as against the petitioner and three others with the respondent police and the same was registered in Crime No.1336 of 2012. Though the said complaint was registered as early as in the year 2012, till date, final report was not filed. Hence, the present petition.
3. I have heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.1336 of 2012 pending on his file and file a final report, if not already filed, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Criminal Original Petition is ordered accordingly.
