Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel.
Supplementary Affidavit filed today is taken on record.
Present petition has been filed for directing the respondents to consider the grievances of petitioner relating to renewal of patta for fisheries pending before him.
Admittedly, fisheries lease (patta), granted to petitioner in the year 2011, has now come to an end in the year 2021 after completion of 10 years' period. As per Rule 57(12) of the U.P. Revenue Code Rules, 2016 it has been specifically provided that every such lease is executed for a period of 10 years and shall not be renewed or extended.
In such view of the matter, the prayer made by the petitioner is misconceived and no such futile writ can be issued.
The writ petition is accordingly dismissed.
