This petition has been filed for a direction upon the respondents to accord consideration to petitioner's candidature for the post of Assistant Accountant in the Combined Assistant Accountant and Auditor Competitive Examination 2016.
Records reveal that one of the eligibility conditions in the advertisement was possessing of 'O Level' diploma in computer operations, which the petitioner admittedly did not possess. According to petitioner, he possesses required qualification as he has a Diploma in Computer Application.
Sri Siddharth Singhal, learned counsel appearing for the respondents submits that interview was conducted in October, 2018 and final result has also been declared in October, 2019. Submission is that all vacancies have been filled and after expiry of such long lapse of time this petition need not be entertained.
Sri Seemant Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner states that requisite records were not available and the same were collected under RTI, and therefore, petitioner has approached this Court within time.
A Full Bench of this Court in the case of Deepak Singh and others vs. State of U.P. and others being Writ Petition No.24273 of 2018 has rejected similar plea for grant of equivalence on the ground that petitioner possesses higher qualification.
Even otherwise, recruitment proceedings have already been concluded in the month of October, 2019 and after such long lapse of time this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition, particularly when petitioner did not possess 'O Level' diploma.
Writ petition, accordingly, fails and is dismissed.
