Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.
The petitioner has preferred the present writ petition with the prayer to quash the order dated 27.08.2021 passed by respondent no.2/Basic Education Officer, Hamirpur.
It is argued by the learned counsel for the respondent that by the aforesaid order, the petitioner is suspended and inquiry has been initiated against the petitioner. It is argued that the disciplinary authority will conclude the inquiry expeditiously and preferably within a period of four months.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has no objection if the inquiry has been concluded within a time bound period.
Heard learned counsel for the parties.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, the present petition is disposed of directing the respondent concerned to conclude the inquiry initiated against the petitioner expeditiously and preferably within a period of four months from the date of production of certified copy of this order before him.
It is made clear that the petitioner will co-operate in the inquiry and will not take any unnecessary adjournment.
